The program is also being viewed as part of the administration’s broader outreach efforts focused on welfare-oriented initiatives that directly benefit citizens. Authorities say the response from the public has been encouraging, with many pilgrims expressing gratitude for the opportunity to visit revered shrines without financial or logistical burdens.

Government representatives indicated that the scheme will continue in phases, covering more districts and routes so that devotees across the state can benefit. They added that feedback from participants will be used to further improve facilities and expand the program in the coming months.

Officials further highlighted that district administrations have been directed to coordinate closely with transport authorities and local volunteers to ensure smooth departures and arrivals of pilgrimage buses. Medical assistance, refreshments, and on-route support teams are also being arranged so that elderly travellers face no inconvenience during the journey.

Sources said the initiative is not only religious in nature but also social, as it encourages community participation and strengthens bonds among citizens from different regions traveling together. Participants from previous batches reportedly described the experience as spiritually fulfilling and well-organized, which has increased interest among other residents to register for upcoming trips.
