Bhagwant Mann: Services reaching people at their doorstep
The Chief Minister highlighted the success of the ‘Bhagwant Mann Sarkar Tuhade Dwaar’ initiative. Under this programme, citizens can now access over 465 government services from the comfort of their homes.
This doorstep delivery system is aimed at reducing the need for physical visits to government offices. It is also helping in saving time and increasing convenience for the public.
Service centres witnessing high footfall
Officials noted that service centres across Punjab continue to play an important role in public service delivery. Around 30 lakh people are benefiting from these centres every month.
These centres act as a bridge for those who may not have direct access to digital platforms. They ensure that government services remain inclusive and accessible to all sections of society.
Four years of governance and reforms
Bhagwant Mann said that the achievements are part of the government’s consistent efforts over the last four years. The focus has been on transparency, efficiency, and ease of access for citizens.
He added that digital transformation is not just about technology but about improving everyday life for people. The government aims to further expand such services in the coming years.
Towards a more accessible administration
With the expansion of digital services and doorstep delivery, Punjab is moving towards a more citizen-friendly governance model. The initiatives are designed to simplify processes and reduce bureaucratic hurdles.
Officials reiterated that the government will continue to strengthen digital infrastructure. The goal is to ensure faster, easier, and more reliable access to public services for everyone.
