Chief Minister’s Office Punjab on Thursday said Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to strengthening and modernising the education system across Punjab.

Addressing a public gathering, the Chief Minister said the Punjab government is continuously working to improve the quality of education in government schools and provide better learning opportunities to students.

Bhagwant Mann stated that teachers from government schools are being sent to countries such as Singapore and Finland for specialised training to help them gain exposure to globally recognised education systems and modern teaching methods.

Bhagwant Mann: Focus on teacher training and global exposure

According to the government, international training programmes are aimed at enhancing the skills of teachers and introducing innovative classroom practices in Punjab’s schools.

Officials said the initiative is expected to improve teaching standards, student engagement and overall academic outcomes in government educational institutions.
