Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann thanked residents for their enthusiastic participation in a public outreach programme held in Jhalur village of Barnala constituency, saying the overwhelming response from people encourages the government to continue working for public welfare and development.

In his message following the event, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude for the affection and support shown by people attending the programme. He said direct interaction with citizens provides valuable feedback and strengthens the government’s commitment to serving the people of Punjab.

Reiterates Commitment to Women’s Welfare

Mann also highlighted the upcoming implementation of the Mawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana, noting that only a few days remain before the scheme is rolled out. He said the initiative is aimed at strengthening the economic security of women and supporting their financial independence.

According to the Chief Minister, the state government remains committed to introducing welfare measures that improve the quality of life for women, families, and rural communities. He emphasized that empowering women is an important part of Punjab’s overall development strategy.

The Chief Minister said the government will continue to focus on development, public welfare, education, healthcare, employment generation, and rural infrastructure while maintaining regular interaction with people through outreach programmes across the state.
