The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian government have orchestrated various ways to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 73rd birthday on September 17. The celebrations, named 'Namo Vikas Utsav,' are set to encompass a range of programs and initiatives.

In Tripura, the BJP unit is intensifying its campaign efforts for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, scheduled for next year, in conjunction with PM Modi's birthday celebration. Various events and programs will be organized as part of the festivities.

Gujarat's BJP unit will initiate the celebration on September 17 and conclude it on Gandhi Jayanti. Gujarat BJP President CR Paatil announced the opening of bank accounts for 30,000 schoolgirls in Navsari district as part of the celebration. Additionally, BJP Yuva Morcha will conduct blood donation camps in all districts of Gujarat.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya revealed the launch of the 'Ayushman Bhava' campaign on September 13, with the formal introduction during the 'Seva Pakhwada,' commencing on PM Modi's birthday. The campaign aims to ensure optimal delivery of health schemes to all intended beneficiaries, including those in remote areas.

The BJP's OBC Morcha announced plans for a nationwide bike rally on September 17 to commemorate PM Modi's birthday. These rallies will be organized in every Mandal (circle) of the party across the country.

These initiatives and celebrations reflect the significance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday in the BJP's calendar, with a focus on welfare, healthcare, and political engagement.
