Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Monday launched a major development push in Agra, unveiling projects worth thousands of crores aimed at urban expansion and infrastructure growth.

CM Yogi Adityanath: Greater Agra township project unveiled
The Chief Minister performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Greater Agra Plan (Raipur–Rahan Kalan), being developed by the Agra Development Authority. The project, valued at ₹5,142 crore, will feature 10 modern townships equipped with advanced urban facilities.

324 projects inaugurated and launched
In addition to the township plan, Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 324 projects worth over ₹1,324 crore. These projects span various sectors, including infrastructure, public services, and urban development.
Officials highlighted that these initiatives will boost local development. They are also expected to generate employment and improve service delivery.

The Chief Minister said that Agra has witnessed significant development over the past nine years under the “double engine” government. He emphasized that the government has delivered on public demands with a positive approach towards growth.

Yogi Adityanath credited the leadership of Narendra Modi for guiding the vision of a “New India.” He said the ongoing development journey is aligned with national growth objectives.
