Delhi Traffic Lok Adalat: Delhi is gearing up for another round of Special Lok Adalat on April 5, 2026 at seven court complexes from 10 am to 4 pm.

Individuals can visit the Patiala House, Karkardooma, Tis Hazari, Saket, Rohini, Dwarka and Rouse Avenue court complexes. Delhi Traffic Lok Adalat-How To Get Relief From Challans?

You can log in to the Delhi Traffic Police website to download and print notices/challans. To get started, you need to visit the website of Delhi Police Traffic or scan the QR code.

It is mandatory to bring a printout of the challan and/or notice as there is no printing facility at the court premises. The link would get active from 10 am on March 31, 2026, and would remain available until the limit of 200,000 challans/notices is exhausted. A maximum of 50,000 challans/notices can be downloaded daily.

Which Cases Are Not Eligible?

It is important to note that non-compoundable or serious offences would not be entertained in the Lok Adalat. For instance, violations like dangerous driving, drunk driving, cases involving accidents or driving without a valid license require formal legal proceedings and cannot be settled through Lok Adalats.

Once at the Lok Adalat, cases are reviewed by judicial officers who may offer reduced fines or facilitate a quick settlement based on the nature of the offence. This not only helps individuals clear pending dues but also reduces the burden on courts by avoiding lengthy litigation.

In conclusion, the Delhi Traffic Lok Adalat serves as an efficient and citizen-friendly platform to resolve minor traffic violations. If you have pending, eligible challans, this is an excellent opportunity to clear them with minimal hassle. Being informed about the types of challans accepted and preparing in advance can help you make the most of this initiative.
