World’s Most Expensive Paneer: PANEER- A Rich source of Protein especially for vegetarians. Be it Palak Paneer, khadai Paneer or Paneer Bhurji, we cannot deny that Indian Cottage cheese is a common item found in every Indian household.
But what if one day you wake and find out that, that particular ‘common item’ costs almost Rs 80,000 per kg. (Yes, That’s Right!)
Well That’s not the story of every other paneer but a pricey luxe one called Pule which is produced in Serbia is said to be the Worlds Most Expensive Paneer (Say What?)
What makes this Paneer so expensive?
Well, the fact that it’s made from donkey’s milk which is apparently said to be the most tastiest and healthy one is what makes it so pricey!
Also, this milk can only be found at Zasavica Nature Reserve, in Serbia. Retailing at €1,000 (Rs 80,00 approx).
And the biggest shocker, well every kg of the world’s most expensive paneer requires 25 litres of milk to be made.
While, donkey milk is an exclusive source of cheese, it is loaded with protein and has enormous number of good properties.

So do you know that this milk actually has some wonderful properties and has the capability to reduce stomach-related disease? The diseases that are caused by viruses and bacteria. And it’s not just that, this milk acts as a boon to boost the growth of good bacteria in the stomach. Other expensive cottage cheese
So the Other expensive cheeses include a Swedish moose cheese which costs around 630 per kilogram.
Then there is Caciocavallo Podolico (An Exclusive one). A cheese is produced from the milk of a rare Italian breed of cow that only produces milk during May and June.
