Thackeray also took a dig at the K. Annamalai, the former Tamil Nadu BJP State President, by calling him “rasmalai’ and using derogatory remarks against him.

In his speech, Thackeray issued a blunt warning to migrants from the states of Bihar and UP. He remarked that he will kick people from UP and Bihar who have migrated to Maharashtra if they try to impose Hindi on Maharashtra.

The MNS Chief added that the upcoming BMC elections are the last election for the Marathi men and urged everyone to unite for Maharashtra and Marathi.

Uddhav Thackeray remarked that the political reunion between him and Raj was forced by an existential threat to Mumbai due to BJP’s politics. The cousins also accused the BJP of consistently favouring the Gautam Adani-led conglomerate.

Raj remarked that the proposed Vadhavan port connecting Mumbai with Gujarat and the bullet train projects were the parts of a broader plan by BJP. Raj added BJP would not be able to sell land to Adani if the BMC is with us.

Uddhav accused the Modi-led BJP government of practising “fake Hindutva” and playing divisive politics before every single election in the country. He also took a dig at Annamalai who had remarked that Mumbai is an international city and not just a Maharashtra city if Narendra Modi at the centre, a BJP mayor in Mumbai and Devendra Fadnavis as the state CM.

Annamalai Responds

Annamalai remarked that he does not feel threatened by the Thackeray cousins who said his leg should be cut off.

Annamalai added that the BJP would prevail in Maharashtra.
