Hemant Soren: Jharkhand Governor Calls on Ranchi University Graduates to Help Build Developed India

The Governor of Jharkhand attended the 39th Convocation Ceremony of Ranchi University, where degrees were conferred upon graduating students. The Governor congratulated all the degree recipients and extended best wishes for their professional and personal journeys ahead.

Addressing the graduating students, the Governor highlighted the importance of education beyond academic achievement and encouraged them to apply their knowledge, skills and creative abilities to address challenges facing society.

The Governor called upon the students to contribute meaningfully to social and national development, stressing that their talent and education can play an important role in bringing positive change to communities.


The Governor also urged the young graduates to become active contributors to the national development agenda and help realise the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’. The call comes as India works towards its long-term goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047.


The convocation marked an important milestone for the students as they formally completed their university education and prepared to enter professional, academic and other fields of public life.


The Governor’s message placed particular emphasis on the responsibility that comes with education, encouraging the graduates to combine knowledge with creativity, dedication and a sense of social responsibility.


The ceremony also provided an opportunity to celebrate the academic achievements of Ranchi University students and recognise their efforts throughout their educational journey.
