Hero Super Splendor: BS6 compliant model gets better, smarter and powerful, the upgrades from older version explained

Hero Super Splendor: The Super Splendor is Hero MotoCorp's top-of-the-line motorcycle in the Splendor line. This is the most powerful Splendor from Hero, with a 125cc engine. The Super Splendor has more features and a better design than other commuters in the Splendor series, as well as Hero's dependability and durability.

The Hero Super Splendor is a more mature and powerful Splendour avatar, powered by an in-house manufactured 125cc engine. The bike is 2,042mm in length, 740mm in width, and 1,102mm in height. The bike has 180mm of ground clearance and a 12-litre gasoline tank. The Super Splendour has a kerb weight of 122kg.

Hero Super Splendor: Engine and transmission

The Hero Super Splendour is powered by a 124cc single-cylinder engine that produces 10.6bhp and 10.6Nm of peak torque and is coupled to a four-speed manual gearbox. The Hero Super Splendour has a fuel efficiency of 75km/l.

Know about the handling system

The Super Splendor's stopping power is provided by 130mm drums. It also has a 2.75x18 -42P/4PR section tyre up front and a 2.75x18 -48P/6PR section tyre up back. The bike has a tubular double cradle chassis and telescopic hydraulic shock absorber suspension in the front and hydraulic shock absorber suspension in the back.

Hero Super Splendor: Features

The new Hero Super Splendour model features a twin-pod instrument cluster with an analogue speedometer and a fuel gauge. The headlamp and taillamp are both equipped with ordinary halogen bulbs in terms of electricals. The Super Splendour also gets Hero's i3s technology, which aids in fuel efficiency.
