New Update
Honda 100cc Bike

Honda 100cc Bike: As previously reported, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) is developing a new 100cc motorcycle that will be released in the first few months of 2023. The new Honda 100cc bike will threaten Hero Splendor's hegemony as India's best-selling motorcycle. With its new commuter, the business hopes to appeal to a broad market by promising great mileage at a reasonable price. Details on the new Honda 100cc motorcycle are not yet accessible. But the engine will probably be smaller in size.

Becoming the best seller

The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has increased its dealership network throughout the nation in front of its impending Splendor rival. With a total of 5,246 locations in the fiscal year 2022, the company added 11 additional touchpoints in both urban and rural areas. By the end of FY22, it had established 119 new partner dealers, 10 Best Deal (BD) stores, and 239 authorised service centres.

Annual growth in sales

HMSI reported total sales of 4,49,391 units in October 2022 as opposed to 4,32,229 units during the same period in the previous year. It experienced a 3.97 percent increase in sales. The company increased its sales on the domestic market by 7.94%, moving 4,25,969 units as opposed to 3,94,645 units. 23,422 units were exported, a decrease of 37.68 percent from the 37,584 units exported in October 2021.

Some expected features

The brand-new Honda CB500 was recently on display at HMSI's Bangalore BigWing shops. It will probably be taken into account for the India launch. The motorcycle has a parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, 471cc engine that is mated to a 6-speed transmission with slip and assist. The motor can produce up to 47bhp and 43Nm of torque. Its front forks are 41mm Showa Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD forks, while its rear shock is a monoshock. The bike has a single disc brake in back and two discs in front.
