Sejal Sud took to Twitter to express her astonishment, questioning why anyone would sell a simple dish like Maggi at such an inflated price. The tweet quickly gained traction, with the hashtag #Maggi trending on Twitter as users shared their thoughts on the matter. While a standard 70g packet of Maggi instant noodles typically costs around Rs 14, the airport eatery’s pricing was nearly five times higher.

People are furious

One user commented, “It’s selling at 250 in Indigo flights as well … AAI needs to put a cap on the rates for consumers to survive their pockets & hunger as well.” Another user commented, “Jab bahar 300 ki choti cappuccino piyoge tab ye dard kum ho jaaega.” One of them commented, “Everything in airports is sky high….same prices as multiplexes u can say.” Some comments were like, “Reason why I carry homemade food to AirPorts,” “That includes the setting up and license fee to run an establishment in Airport,” “You could learn from we Gujaratis, we always carry Thepla all over the world.”
