March 1, 2024

• Deadline for furnishing the challan-cum-statement for tax deducted under sections 194-IA, 194-IB, 194M, and 194S in January 2024.

March 7, 2024

• Last day for depositing tax deducted/collected for February 2024. Government offices must remit the deducted sum to the Central Government on the same day.

March 15, 2024

• Fourth instalment of advance tax for the assessment year 2024-25 is due.
• Deadline for payment of advance tax for taxpayers under the presumptive scheme of sections 44AD/44ADA.
• Furnishing of Form 24G by government offices for February 2024 TDS/TCS without a Challan.
