Inspirational Stories: Riti Kumari was a deserving student. In class 10, she received a 9.6 CGPA, and in class 12, 91 percent. Despite this, she was unable to pass JEE and enrol in the esteemed IIT. She went to her backup plan, looking into alternative employment paths. After receiving 13 offers, she chose to work at Walmart as a software developer.
She stated in a tweet that she used to believe she wouldn't be able to accomplish anything in life after failing the IIT. She enrolled in a government university in order to protect her father's hard-earned money. Her freshman year of college had just begun. She only cared about passing the IIT. She considered getting ready for the GATE, but she later abandoned the notion. When Riti was looking through LinkedIn, she noticed a need for software developers. She began looking into the profession. She was successful in her first interview at Accolite. Twelve more interviews she aced.
She is now employed for Walmart."The motive behind sharing this story is that I have seen people getting demotivated, lost, confused, and depressed. Let's normalise this, each one of us has been through these situations and emerged as a better person," she wrote on Twitter. She doesn't suffer because she works at a place where only graduates of elite universities are employed. She received her engineering degree from Virginia Tech's University College of Engineering and Technology.
