iPhone fraud: Buying iPhone? These 4 methods will help you to select the real one

iPhone fraud: The most popular item on the market right now is the iPhone. Everyone wants to purchase it. Despite the exorbitant cost, people buy them without hesitation. Do you, however, know if the iPhone you are purchasing from the market is authentic or fake? Because there have been numerous instances where counterfeit iPhones have been discovered by pretending to be the real thing. Check your iPhone right away if it has an issue so you may get your money back in a timely manner. You can use our very easy techniques to distinguish between genuine and fake iPhones.

iPhone fraud: Identify by looking at the design

The hardware characteristics of the iPhone can be used to identify it. The “sleep/wake” button is located in the top-right corner of your iPhone, the “home” button is centred at the bottom of the screen, and the ringer switch and volume button are located at the top-left. The Apple logo must also be on the rear of your iPhone. There is a chance that your iPhone is a fake if any of these items are missing or move around.

iPhone fraud: Network connectivity

Wi-Fi, EDGE, and Bluetooth connectivity should be available on all iPhone models. The first iPhone is the only model that cannot connect to 3G data networks. Near Field Communications (NFC) is supported by Apple Pay on iPhone 6 and later generations. It’s probably a fake or a model that was previously sold in a different nation if the iPhone you purchase is unable to connect to one of these networks.

Verify with serial number

Each iPhone is uniquely identified by its serial number. If it’s in Apple’s database, you can tell by glancing at the serial number. To get the serial number on the iPhone, go to Settings, select General, and then click About. Keep the screen open or enter the number after scrolling down to “Serial number.” Now enter the serial number at “https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do.” You can determine whether your iPhone is still covered by warranty using this approach. If you receive the notice “We’re sorry, but this serial number is not authentic, please check your details and try again, as this iPhone may be a fake,” check your information and try again.

Sync your iphone

It might be a fake iPhone if you purchase one that won’t connect to iTunes or isn’t recognised by iTunes. Verify that your iTunes and iOS software are both current before coming to this conclusion.
