Jabalpur News: A shocking case of audacity has come to light in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. A tehsildar and his team who reached a venue to crack down on the incidences of illegal mining by the sand mafia were openly threatened with being crushed under a dumper.
According to AajTtak, the tehsildar and the minerals department team went to seize dumpers by stopping them. However, a mining businessman arrived with his henchmen at the scene. He then started threatening to run over the government officials with a dumper. The unchecked video of the mafia is spreading quickly on social media platforms.
The incident is believed to occur near the Jabalpur-Nagpur toll plaza in the Bargi Police Station. The businessman has been identified as Rohit Jain. Rohit has been accused of obstructing government officials and threatening to kill the tehsildar and government officials by ramming a Hyva truck onto them. An FIR has been registered against Rohit Jain and his accomplices.

Things started when Tehsildar Ravindra Patel and Minerals Inspector Vivekanand Yadav reached with their team near Manegaon village for investigating the illegal transportation of murum soil. Three dumpers were stopped by the tehsildar and royalty-related documents were sought. This is when the dump drivers made a call to the vehicle owner Rohit.
Soon, a heated argument started between Rohit and the tehsildar. Valid papers were demanded by the tehsildar but Rohit vehemently denied showing any documents. Angrily, Rohit asked the driver to move the dumper forward and said we will finish everyone who comes in between and it does not matter of two or four people get crushed by the dumper.
During investigations, it was revealed that the dumpers were carrying minerals overloaded beyond capacity. Rohit has now been arrested by the police and he is being interrogated.
