Know why Sardar Vallabhbhai known as Iron Man of India

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was born on 31 October 1875 in a Leva Patidar farming family in Nadiad (Gujarat).
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel became the first Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the country.

Vallu Bhai, who undertook the Bardoli Satyagraha, was conferred the title of Sardar by the women there on the success of the Satyagraha.

Patel not been there, the country might not have been one, he has also called Patel the Bismarck and Iron Man of India to play a central role in the geopolitical integration of India scattered in various princely states after independence.

Vallabh, the fourth child of Jhaverbhai Patel and Ladba Devi, went to London to study as a barrister.

In order to do a strong satyagraha in Bardoli town, he was first called Sardar of Bardoli and later only Sardar.

He was known as the Iron Man of India for his great contribution in the integration of India.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's contribution in building a united India and uniting the country is unmatched. On many occasions he showed strong intentions and did not back down from taking harsh decisions. For this reason, he is known as Iron Man.

When the country became independent, at that time there were 565 princely states. The British rule put an option in front of them to choose either India or Pakistan. The problem was that some princely states wanted to remain independent while there were others who wanted to be part of it despite being far away from Pakistan. Sardar Patel solved this problem. Most of the princely states agreed to be a part of India. Those that did not occur were included in the country through military action. It was as easy to read but it was a difficult task. Because, not one or two but 565 princely states and Rajwade Patel were becoming a hindrance in Patel's unbroken India thinking. However, this was his iron resolve, and he fulfilled it. There was some political mess only on Jammu and Kashmir and till today the country is suffering its sting.
