₹1500 Credited to Ladli Behna Accounts
As part of the Ladli Behna Yojana, the state government transferred ₹1500 to the bank accounts of eligible women beneficiaries on Wednesday—two days before Rakshabandhan. This amount includes ₹250 specifically allocated as a Rakshabandhan gift.
The move aims to support women financially during the festival and ensure they are able to celebrate the occasion with dignity and ease.
Focus on Women Empowerment
CM Yadav reaffirmed the state’s commitment to women empowerment. “हमारी सरकार निरन्तर महिला सशक्तिकरण के लिए संकल्पित है,” he stated. The Ladli Behna scheme, launched to provide monthly financial assistance to women, continues to be one of the flagship welfare programs of the state government.
Beneficiaries Express Gratitude
Several women across Madhya Pradesh expressed happiness over the early transfer of funds. For many, the Rakshabandhan gift is not just financial support but also a symbolic gesture that reinforces their importance in the society.
