Shardiya Navratri 2021: Shardiya Navratri is considered to be the nine holy days of Maa Durga. Worshiping different forms of Maa Durga every day gives special results. This year Shardiya Navratri is of 8 days. The reason for this is that this time Chaturthi and Panchami Tithi fall together. The Shardiya Navratri starting from October 7 will continue till October 14. On October 15, Vijayadashami will be made.

This year Shardiya Navratri is of eight days. This time Navratri is starting from Thursday. Pitru Paksha will end on 6th October along with Sarvapitri Amavasya. Navratri is starting from the very next day i.e. from 7th October. Navratri is of only eight days as there are two tithis on the same day. On Saturday, October 9, Tritiya will remain till 7.48 in the morning. After this, Chaturthi will start, which will remain till 5 am on Sunday, 10 October, the next day. Navratri is starting in Chitra Nakshatra, which will bring spirituality, courage and contentment.

First day 7 October 2021: Worship of Maa Shailputri

Second day 8 October 2021: Worship of Mother Brahmacharini

Third day 9 October 2021: Worship of Mother Chandraghanta and Mother Kushmanda

Fourth day 10 October 2021: Worship of Mother Skandmata

Fifth day 11 October 2021: Worship of Maa Katyayani

Sixth day 12 October 2021: Worship of Maa Kalratri

Seventh day 13 October 2021: Worship of Maa Mahagauri

Eighth day 14 October 2021: Worship of Mother Siddhidatri

15 October 2021: Vijayadashami (Dussehra)

Shubh Muhurat for Ghatasthapana 

On the first day of Navratri, worship of Mother Goddess is started with Ghatasthapana. Take special care of the auspicious time for Ghatasthapana. The auspicious time of Ghatasthapana on 7th October is from 6.17 am to 7.07 am. Performing Ghatasthapana at this time makes Navratri fruitful.
