The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has announced new dress standards (Vaishno Devi Dress Code) for darshan inside the structure, according to sister website India.com. Devotees are required to dress appropriately during this period in order to preserve the Vaishno Devi Bhawan’s dignity. Additionally, there should be no inconvenience for other devotees.

Vaishno Devi Bans T-Shirts, Capris, and Shorts for Darshan

According to a media report, the Vaishno Devi Dress Code will no longer be followed by devotees who arrive at Vaishno Devi Bhawan wearing T-shirts, capris, shorts, or other short clothing, per the new Shrine Board regulations (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board). The mother’s cave will not be accessible. Additionally, they won’t be permitted to take part in “Atka Aarti.” To educate the devotees of this rule, information boards have been placed at various locations across the Vaishno Devi complex. Additionally, they are being told of the new regulations over loudspeakers.
