New Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: The SUV is selling like hot cakes, reveal first month’s robust sales figures, details here

New Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: This newly launched car has gotten a large number of reservations just a few months of the Indian automaker launching reservations in India. According to the company, it has received over 55,000 bookings for its first-ever mid-size SUV in India. In its first month of sales, the business has delivered 4,770 units. According to data from September 2022, the hybrid SUV is a hit in the Indian market, outselling several other mid-SUVs. However, the true data for the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will not be available until October 2022, demonstrating how well the vehicle performs.

Maruti Suzuki reported the highest ever wholesale of 3,55,946 units

Maruti Suzuki as a brand reported the highest ever wholesale of 3,55,946 units, with a staggering 7.8 percent sales gain over the same period last year. Maruti Suzuki’s share price increased by 42 percent last month, a significant increase over previous months. Multiple new introductions have contributed to the company’s success, including the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza, India’s best-selling SUV, and other vehicles such as the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Ertiga, and XL6.

Indeed, sales of cars such as the Maruti Suzuki Celerio have increased since the new model was introduced late last year. Furthermore, with the semiconductor issue mostly resolved, automakers have reached their peak during the equivalent month last year.

New Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara was on sale in India from September 26, 2022

The New Grand Vitara has prices ranging from Rs. 10.45 lakh to Rs. 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, the recently launched Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the MG Astor, the VW Taigun, and the Skoda Kushaq. The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder serves as the foundation for the midsize SUV.

The SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine and a 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol engine, the latter with a dedicated EV mode and India’s best stated fuel efficiency of around 28 kmpl.
