Pavna Group and Taiwan’s SMC Form Joint Venture to Drive Automotive Innovation

In a significant step towards shaping the future of mobility, Pavna Group — one of South Asia’s most experienced automotive parts solutions providers — has entered into a joint venture with Taiwan’s leading electronic systems integration solutions company, SMC. The agreement marks the beginning of a new chapter in global automotive and electronics innovation.

The signing ceremony was held at Pavna Group’s headquarters, where senior executives from both companies formalised the partnership. The joint venture aims to combine Pavna’s 54 years of expertise in automotive manufacturing with SMC’s decades of experience in electronics, design, and IoT-driven solutions.

Planned product lines under the JV include:

  • Automotive locks
  • EV components such as throttle bodies and motor controllers
  • Digital dashboards for two- and three-wheelers
  • EV charging systems

Speaking at the event, Swapnil Jain, Managing Director of Pavna Group, said:
