India’s farmers anxiously await information on the 17th payment of the PM Kisan Yojana. The next episode is eagerly awaited, having benefited from 16 installments thus far. No formal announcement has been made as of yet, but media rumours indicate that a release by the end of May or the beginning of June is possible.
Overview of PM Kisan Yojana
The Central Government launched the PM Kisan Yojana on February 24, 2019, with the goal of giving farmers all throughout the nation financial support. Eligible farmers are given an annual payment of Rs 6000 by the Central Government under this plan.
Installment Structure
The assistance provided under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is disbursed in three equal installments of Rs 2000 each, ensuring regular support to farmers throughout the year.

For farmers to continue receiving benefits under the PM Kisan Yojana, it’s crucial to complete the e-KYC process. Failure to do so may result in the exclusion from receiving the 17th installment. Therefore, farmers are urged to complete this essential step without delay.
