Punjab News: As part of Punjab's Mission Rozgar, Local Government Minister Ravjot Singh handed over appointment letters to 85 individuals on Saturday at the Municipal Corporation office.

The appointments include 19 executive officers, 18 drivers/operators, and 48 sanitation workers, peons, and laborers. The minister emphasized the state government's commitment to generating employment opportunities for the youth.
Employment Drive Under AAP Government
Highlighting the achievements of the AAP government, Ravjot Singh stated that nearly 51,000 people have secured government jobs since the party took office. He reiterated the government’s focus on expanding job opportunities and ensuring equitable employment for all.
The initiative aligns with Punjab's broader efforts to strengthen local governance and improve public services through strategic recruitment drives.
Focus on Transparent Recruitment
The minister also highlighted the transparency and fairness in the recruitment process, ensuring that deserving candidates are given opportunities without bias. "Our government is working tirelessly to provide equitable employment opportunities to all sections of society," Singh added.
Future Plans for Employment Generation
Under Mission Rozgar, the Punjab government plans to continue its efforts to generate more employment in both urban and rural sectors. Singh reiterated that upcoming initiatives would focus on expanding job avenues in other critical departments, aligning with the government’s vision of sustainable growth and development.
