Ration Card : The UP govt is going to reduce the names from the list of ration card holders ! Learn the cause

Ration Card : The ration card is a topic of ongoing debate within the UP government. In response to earlier discussions regarding turning in the ration card, the government has stated that it is only conducting an investigation and that no action, such as surrender and recovery, is being done. In order to determine how much ration you are taking and whether you qualify for it or not, the UP government will now survey the state.

In addition, since no census was conducted in UP after 2011, many eligible people are unable to take benefit of the government’s free programme. The government is also removing numerous people’s names in this circumstance.

On the one hand, the government is conducting a poll to find out how frequently and for what reasons you use the free ration at the quota shop. In the National Statistical Office’s newly launched household consumption expenditure survey, you will be required to provide this information (NSO). Your card will be cancelled if any errors are discovered. Not only that, but a survey is also being conducted as part of this to determine how frequently Ayushman is used in homes with children older than three.

The government is currently removing the names of those who are disqualified while adding the names of new applicants. In other words, the names of those who are ineligible are subtracted from those who were added in accordance with the 2011 Census.

Additionally, new needy characters are being added to replace the cards for the deleted ineligible folks. In other words, based on the population ratio for the year 2011, new names are also being added to the national food security list.
