Madhya Pradesh is steadily emerging as a frontrunner in agricultural innovation and sustainable energy. Taking a leap forward, the state government is set to host the Surya Mitra Krishi Feeder Yojana Summit on 10th June 2025 at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre, Bhopal.
Chief Minister highlighted the summit in a recent tweet, stating “नवाचारों के साथ प्रगति करता मध्यप्रदेश” — reinforcing the state’s commitment to progressive policies.
Key Objectives of the Yojana:
🔹 Connecting Agricultural Feeders with Solar Energy: Aimed at reducing dependency on conventional energy and integrating sustainable sources.
🔹 Ensuring Daytime Power for Irrigation: Farmers will be able to irrigate their fields using reliable, uninterrupted electricity during the day.
🔹 Reducing Grid Load and Transmission Losses: By decentralizing power sources through solar, the pressure on the state grid will reduce significantly.
🔹 Promoting Local Investment and Employment: The initiative is expected to boost job creation and attract clean energy investments at the local level.
Summit to Bring Together Policymakers, Experts, and Farmers
The summit will serve as a platform for key stakeholders — from energy experts and government officials to farmers and entrepreneurs — to exchange ideas and strengthen the vision of energy-efficient agriculture in Madhya Pradesh.
With this initiative, Madhya Pradesh not only reaffirms its commitment to farmers but also underscores its proactive approach towards climate resilience, sustainability, and rural development.
As the countdown begins, all eyes are on Bhopal, where the fusion of innovation and tradition will lay the groundwork for a greener, more prosperous agricultural future.
