Sam Manekshaw's full name was Hormuzji Framdi Jamshedji Manekshaw. Sam was born on 3 April 1914 in Amritsar. Because of his fearlessness and bravery since childhood, his loved ones called him Sam Bahadur. Born in a Parsi family, Sam did not want to join the army, his father was a doctor, he also wanted to become a doctor. But luck was something else, he wanted to go to England, but his father did not agree. In such a situation, rebelling against his father, he gave the army recruitment test.

When the Second World War took place, India did not get independence at that time, then the soldiers of India used to fight for the British army. Sam Manekshaw was a captain in the UK India Army. He was leading his troops against the Japan Army at that time. During the Second World War in 1942, a Japanese soldier in Burma shot him with 7 bullets, which hit his intestines, liver and kidneys. After this, it seemed as if Sam Manekshaw could not survive, but even at that time he was standing in the battle of the field. When he was taken to the doctor, he was asked, "What happened to you, brave boy"? Sam's answer to this was. 'I have been kicked by the mule'.

He never used to get scared by saying reality. When Indira Gandhi asked for an attack on untimely East Pakistan, she replied that defeat was certain in this situation. This made Indira Gandhi angry. Regardless of his anger, Manekshaw said, 'Prime Minister, do you want me to submit my resignation before opening your mouth with an excuse?'

After about 7 months, he completed the preparations and fought the war of Bangladesh. When Indira Gandhi asked him about the preparations for the Indian Army before the war, he replied, "I am always ready, sweety."

Now the title of this film has been announced on Sam Manekshaw's birthday and it will be titled 'SAM Bahadur'. After winning the 1971 war, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw was called by this name. Sam Manekshaw participated in 5 battles in his 40-year military career. He was the first officer of the Indian Army to be promoted to the post of Field Marshal.
