Ultraviolette F77: The new EV hyperbike with innovative features and exceptional design to hit the market soon, details here

Ultraviolette F77: The F77 hyperbike will debut on November 24, 2022, thanks to support from TVS Motor Company and Ultraviolette Automotive Pvt Ltd. The pricing of the high-performance bike, which will be offered in the models Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser, is anticipated to fall between Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 4.2 lakh. The electric motorcycle is anticipated to have a range of 200 kilometres on a single charge, accelerate from 0 to 60 kilometres per hour in just 2.9 seconds, and reach a top speed of up to 140 kilometres per hour.

About the launch

There is a very high likelihood that the products will be shipped to customers directly, a strategy used by companies like Ola in India and Tesla in the US. The company has not yet established physical stores and has no immediate plans to leverage TVS’ chain of dealers.

The F77 was conceived and engineered in India, according to Ultraviolette, and will be introduced to the country in phases, beginning in Bengaluru and moving on to other cities. Additionally, it is considering introducing this product in developed nations including the US, Japan, and Europe. The company stated that it has received over 70,000 pre-launch booking inquiries (and counting) from 190 different countries, with orders coming from the local market accounting for 85% of the total.

The first phase will focus on serving the home market; the second phase will service the European and North American markets, which make up the majority of the company’s international orders.

Features

The bike is said to include a tonne of hardware and software features, like regenerative braking, dual-channel ABS, adjustable shocks, and numerous drive modes, to name a few. According to the company’s claims, Ultraviolette has put the F77 through its paces over the past year in a variety of terrains and weather patterns around the nation.

A variety of linked features, including remote diagnostics, different ride modes, bike tracking, over-the-air updates, regenerative braking, and ride diagnostics, will be available on the e-motorcycle. It’s interesting to note that there is no distinction between an export-focused model and one that is aimed on India in terms of technical specifications or the degree of connected features.
Chief Technology Officer of Ultraviolette Niraj Rajmohan stated, “The items are already constructed to meet international requirements. Global standards and requirements have been a part of the specifications since the beginning. For that, we’ve already made preparations. Therefore, there won’t be any distinction between goods sold in India and the rest of the world.

The plans

The EV company has started production trials of this high-performance model at its manufacturing plant in Electronic City, Bengaluru, which will eventually have an installed capacity of 1.2 lakh units per year after having already conducted test drives.

Despite the bike’s incredible acceleration stats, the manufacturer intends to take its time with production. Despite having a 120,000 unit capacity, only roughly 15,000 vehicles can be produced in the first year. This is done to guarantee quality and establish the procedures. We will increase output throughout the second year to make use of our plant’s full capability, said Subramaniam.
