Viral video Pune cop: Pune Cop pours water on the people sleeping on Platforms, draws sharp reax from people

Viral Video: A Cop is seen pouring water from the water bottle in the Pune Railway station is catching attention of lots of Social Media Users. The Twitter user who shared the clip tagged it as ‘RIP Humaity’. In the video, the Railway Government Police Personnel is seen walking on the platform carrying a water bottle in his hand and pouring on the people sleeping or taking a nap on the platform.

DRM calls it Highly ‘Regretable’

After the video went viral, the DRM of the Pune Railway station took to Twitter and wrote, this is highly regrettable incident, sleeping on the platform causes inconvenience to the people, however the way it was handled is not a suitable way of counseling passengers. Concerned staff has been suitably advised to deal with passengers with dignity , politeness and decency. This incident is deeply regretted.

Video received mixed reactions from Users

The act was criticized by lot of users in the Social Media calling it insensitive and shameful. Another user wrote, we need to arrange places where people can rest. This is inhuman to handle a situation like this. However there were others who were defending the cop saying he was doing his duty, he was only pouring a few drops of water to wake them not a bucket of water.
