Weather Update May 2 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttarakhand along with Northeastern states may witness moderate to heavy rainfall, accompanied by hailstorms and violent thunderstorms.
Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland may experience heavy to extremely heavy rainfall, disrupting routine life and causing inconvenience to passengers and residents.
Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir And Himachal Pradesh Weather Update
Several parts in Mandi, Solan, Kullu, Una, Chamba, Bilaspur, Manali, Dharamshala, Nahan, Kangra, Palampur, Shimla and Palampur are likely to experience bone-chilling conditions. Rainfall and snowfall may be witnessed in several parts of the states.

Kashipur, Haldwani, Roorkee, Almora, Pithoragarh, Rudrapur, Mussoorie, Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Nainital, Bageshwar and Champawat may experience rainfall with a slight possibility of hailstorms and snowfall in some places.

Sikar, Pali, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Mathura, Vrindavan, Hanumangarh, Sonipat, Yamunanagar, Panchkula and Bhiwani are likely to witness rainfall accompanied by hailstorms.
Kurukshetra, Karnal, Hisar, Rohtak, Bharatpur, Kaithal and Bareilly may also experience similar weather conditions.
Weather Update May 2 2026-Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan Weather Update
Ratlam, Dewas, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Vidisha, Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain, Bhopal, Sagar, Rewa, Satna, Chhindwara, Shivpuri and Jabalpur may witness pleasant weather conditons, accompanied by a minor drop in maximum temperatures.
Kota, Ajmer, Bikaner, Bundi, Alwar, Sri Ganganagar, Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur may experience similar weather conditions along with a slight possibility for rainfall and hailstorms.
