Aurangzeb Biography:
Aurangzeb was born on 4 November 1618 AD in Dohad, Gujarat. Aurangzeb was the son of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz.
Most of Aurangzeb's childhood was spent with Nur Jahan.
Aurangzeb married with the 'Dilras Bano Begum' of the Persian monarchy on May 18, 1637 AD.
In a hurry by occupying Agra, Aurangzeb gave his coronation "Abul Muzaffar Muhiuddin Muzaffar Aurangzeb Bahadur Alamgir" on 31 July 1658 AD.

Aurangzeb imposed the 'Jizya' tax on Hindus again on April 1679 AD. Jizya was first applied to Marwar.
When Shah Jahan grew old and became ill, Aurangzeb imprisoned him. Some historians say that Shah was spending the entire Mughal treasury on the Taj Mahal, which is why he was imprisoned. Shah Jahan died in prison. In this way he became the unitary monarch of Hindustan.
Aurangzeb's ancestors, Akbar, Babur, and the rulers who gave India the prosperity, Aurangzeb must have increased it, but due to his fanaticism and mistreatment of his father and brothers, he also had to buy the opposition of the people of the country. He imposed jizya tax on Hindus. He fought many big battles for the expansion of the kingdom. His reign lasted from 1658 until his death in 1707. He established his rule for 48 years.
