Addressing the crowd, CM Mann reminisced about his early days, stating, “I am here in Ghumar Mandi, a market that is not new to me. My career began here.” He emphasized the significance of the elections, highlighting the AAP\’s commitment to development. Mann urged voters to support AAP for progress and said, “If development is ignored, how will anyone face the public for votes next time?”
Vision for Ludhiana’s Development
During the roadshow, Mann assured residents that Ludhiana’s progress is a priority. He claimed to be well-acquainted with the city’s challenges, stating, “I know every street of Ludhiana, and I am aware of the problems people face.” He also acknowledged Ludhiana as his “karmabhoomi” (workplace), recalling how the city gave him opportunities as a young artist at the age of 17.
Mann criticized rival parties, suggesting that people are hesitant to engage with them due to mistrust. He joked, “People fear shaking hands with them, worried they might lose a ring from their finger.”
Appeal for AAP Support
The Chief Minister passionately appealed to voters, asking them to press the broom symbol on the EVM to ensure continued development. He warned that choosing other parties might lead to setbacks, metaphorically suggesting their governance could cause “white cataracts” in the public’s vision.
Mann concluded by expressing gratitude for Ludhiana’s love and support, calling the city the foundation of his career and personal growth.
