Iran Protest: United States President Donald Trump has warned of severe and immediate action against the Islamic Republic and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Trump added that the enthusiasm among Iranians to overturn the Ayatollah regime has been incredible.

Trump remarked the United States would come to the rescue of protestors in Iran if the ruling regime does not stop shooting and violently killing peaceful protestors.

What Did Donald Trump Remarked on Iran Protest?

Trump added that the United States would protect Iranian people. Trump added he does not have any immediate plans to meet the exiled Prince Reza Pahlavi now.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry rebuked the comments of Trump by saying that the comments of Trump are aimed at deceiving public opinion and covering up the series of inhumane crime committed against Iranians.

What Did a US Republican Said?

US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham issued a stern warning to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, that Trump would very soon take lethal action.

Lindsey called Kahemenie a “religious Nazi” who terrorizes the world and kills his own people. She added that Iranian protestors can expect “help on its way.”

Meanwhile, telephone lines and internet access in the country were cut off immediately. This was after protestors took things in their hands over worsening economic conditions.

People in Tehran rallied on the streets after the exiled crown prince of Iran called for a decisive mass demonstration. Till now, at least 39 people have been killed and more than 2,260 people have been illegally detained.

“Great nation of Iran, the eyes of the world are upon you. Take to the streets and, as a united front, shout your demands,” Pahlavi said in a statement. “I warn the Islamic Republic, its leader and the (Revolutionary Guard) that the world and (President Donald Trump) are closely watching you. Suppression of the people will not go unanswered.”
