Nitish Kumar: In a now viral video, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is seen pulling off the face veil of a female Muslim doctor.
The Event Details
Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary made an attempt to stop Nitish but it was too late by then. The video is believed to be from Patna where the Bihar CM was giving appointment letters to 1,283 Ayush doctors (Ayurvedic, Homeopathic and Unani). The event was also attended by Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha, Health Minister Mangal Pandey and Bihar Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary.
The name of the girl is Nusrat Praveen. The Bihar CM asked Nusrat why she is covering the face and before she or anyone could react, Nitish pulled off the face veil.
