Ab De Villiers: There are only few cricketers who are respected worldwide, even after their retirement. Among the players with a huge fan base, the elite list includes cricket players such as MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, and AB de Villiers.

In terms of the legendary player from South Africa, AB de Villiers, it can be said that India is where the majority of his fans are located. One of the people who recently had the chance to meet the former wicket-keeper batsman on the latter’s visit to India is Bollywood star Ranveer Singh.

Taking to Instagram, Ranveer Singh wrote “Had a great afternoon, hanging, chatting and watching cricket with the legend – ‘Mr.360’ himself @abdevilliers17 (bat and ball emojis) #championofchampions #besttoeverdoit.”

Ranveer and de Villiers appeared to be wearing matching black t-shirts in the Instagram photo. As visible in the photos, Ranveer and ABD connected well with each other over the lunch.

The semi-final matches for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 are about to start, and AB de Villers has given his opinion on the teams that might go to the finals.

“I think India will play New Zealand in the final and I think India will win. Everyone is playing well, Suryakumar looks in good form, Virat looks in good form. Rohit has not had his best of runs but he will come to the party when it matters most, he is a fantastic player,” ABD said.

Ab de villiers was recently spotted playing cricket in the Mumbai streets as well.
