After Babar, Shadab another Pakistani player out of the New Zealand series

Pakistan is on the backfoot after their star player suffered injury. After Babar Azam and Shadab Khan, now opener Imam-ul-Haq has also been ruled out of the second Test due to a thumb injury.

In a press release, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that Imam will return home on Sunday and will stay at the High Performance Center in Lahore for rehab. The southpaw suffered injury during the practice session in Queenstown.

Significantly, on the tour of New Zealand, Pakistan team is upset with the injury of players. Their star batsman, Babar Azam also could not play in the second Test due to injury, while the all-rounder Shadab Khan will not be able to play in the home series against South Africa as well which is set to start next month.
