Anushka took to her Instagram story to express gratitude toward God for His blessings.
Anushka Sharma praises Virat Kohli and thanks God
Last night the whole country was dancing with joy upon seeing the Indian cricket team’s earth-shattering performance against New Zealand. In the beginning, India won the toss and decided to bat first. In the first innings itself, the team set a majestic target of 398 runs for New Zealand. Even the second innings were dominated by team India’s bowlers who knocked down New Zealand at 327 runs.
Amid all the enthralling drama, Virat Kohli became the man with a mission. He captured everyone’s attention by completing his 50 ODI centuries in the match. He broke the god of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar’s record and his own previous record. Anushka couldn’t contain all the happiness inside her after the match. She took to her Instagram story and wrote, “God is the best script writer! Utterly grateful to him for blessing me with your love, and to watch you grow from strength to strength and achieve all that you have and will, being honest to yourself and to the sport always. You are truly gods (sic) child.”

Anushka didn’t stop at Virat Kohli alone. She went further and praised the men in blue by reposting the Indian cricket team’s original post, “One step closer.” With reference to the Indian Cricket time the actress wrote, “This.gun.team. (Blue heart emoji).” Anushka also congratulated the player of the match Mohd. Shami, who allowed only 57 runs and took 7 wickets.
