Neutral Venue Chosen Despite India's Hosting Rights

India was awarded the organizing duties of the Asia Cup 2025, but because India and Pakistan have political issues, the event will be held in the UAE. Associated national relations further worsened as the terrorists struck again in Pahalgam in April, killing 26 people, making it impossible for Pakistan could play in India. Therefore, ACC chose to have the tournament at a neutral site.
