The gold medal match awaits, where India will meet the victor of the second semifinal between Iran and Chinese Taipei on Saturday.

The journey that commenced with a silver medal in the Women’s 10m air rifle event reached a significant milestone with the 100th medal when wrestler Sonam secured a bronze on October 6. Sonam secured the bronze by defeating China’s Long Jiain in the 62kg freestyle event bronze medal match.

India secured a dominant victory over Nepal in the women’s kabaddi semifinal, securing a place in the final with a commanding 61-17 win, marking their highest score in the Games. In wrestling, Sonam Malik clinched a bronze in the women’s wrestling freestyle 62kg event by defeating China’s Jia Long. Additionally, the men’s cricket team emerged victorious against Bangladesh in the semifinals, while Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, having already secured a podium finish in men’s doubles, have a chance to upgrade their medals to silver with a win in the semifinals.
