AUS vs SA: Today is the 29th birthday of Australian batsman Travis Head. Head has never left the Australian team since making his debut in international cricket. In all formats, he represents the Kangaroo team. On the fourth day of the Boxing Day Test between Australia and South Africa being played in Melbourne, he displayed outstanding fielding. On his birthday, he fielded superbly and struck out South African batsman Khaya Jondo. On social media, a video of his exit is going viral.
The birthday boy did a great job in the field
The game was in progress in the 27th over of South Africa’s innings. Captain Pat Cummins was bowling. Khaya Jondo, the visiting batsman on strike, played Cummins’ ball towards mid-off where Travis Head was fielding. Jondo ran to take the run. In such a situation, while fielding brilliantly, Head scattered the stumps with his accurate throw and ran out the South African batsman. Head is celebrating his 29th birthday today.

In the Boxing Day Test against Australia in Melbourne, South Africa faces the possibility of losing by an innings. South Africa had scored 120 runs for 4 wickets in their second innings as of the time of writing this article in response to Australia’s first innings. With only 6 wickets remaining, the visiting team currently trails Australia by 266 runs. 189 runs had been scored by South Africa in their opening inning. The hosts declared their first innings at the same time after scoring 575 runs off of 8 wickets.
