In the second Test match between Australia and South Africa, which is being played at Melbourne Ground, outstanding batsman David Warner set an unbroken double century record in his 100th Test match. David Warner scored 200 runs in 254 balls while also hitting 16 fours and two spectacular sixes. As he wildly celebrated his double century, he was hurt and had to retire due to his injuries. But because of Warner's outstanding performance, he has become the first opener in the world and the only Australian batsman to score a double century in his 100th Test match.

Australia's opener David Warner had earlier scored a magnificent century in the 100th game of his ODI career. In his 100th game against Team India, David Warner played well, scoring 124 runs in a stellar century. David Warner is now playing in his 100th Test and ODI match, making him the lone Australian batsman to have scored a century and a double century.
