Babar Azam: Netizens troll Pakistan skipper after honeytrap video goes viral, say “And people compare him with Kohli”

Babar Azam: As if Babar Azam's captaincy and team's recent results weren't already problematic enough, the Pakistani skipper is already involved in new controversy where it is claimed that his private recordings and personal discussions with a female have leaked online. Babar was allegedly 'sexting' with the girlfriend of another Pakistan player, according to many tweets and reports.

Aside from the video and chats, some of Babar's voice recordings also leaked. While the majority of Twitter users believe the videos, chats, and pictures are authentic, some contend it is all propaganda against the Pakistan captain. Babar has already been entangled in similar controversies away from the playing field.

Previous accusations on Babar Azam

A woman had previously accused Babar of sexual assault in November of 2020, alleging that the cricketer had taken advantage of her for ten years and given her false hope of getting married, among other nasty accusations.

In a press conference, the woman had said, "I have known Babar since the time he had nothing to do with cricket. He was from a poor household. I hope all my brothers and sisters here are going to help me get justice so that no daughter gets to go through what I have. Babar and I have grown up in the same colony, we used to stay together."
