BPL 2023: Another brawl ! Batter backs away late, furious bowler verbally assaults him, watch what happens next

BPL 2023: There was a tonne of amusement in the eighth game of the current Bangladesh Premier League. A verbal altercation between Dhaka bowler Soumya Sarkar and the on-strike batsman Towhid Hridoy happened during the second inning. When Strikers were struggling at 58/1 in the eighth over of the second inning, these two players got into a brawl.

Players engage in altercation

Towhid Hridoy, the on-strike hitter, walked away from the wicket before the right-arm medium, who had been summoned into the attack, took his runup. Sarkar delivered, though, and struck the leg-stump while keeping speed on the side. In the middle, after exchanging a few words, the two continued to stare at one other.

The Bangladeshi cricketer, 22, has been in outstanding form in the current Bangladesh Premier League. With an average of 65 and a strike rate of 166.66, he has 195 runs scored in three innings. He is the only batsman from Bangladesh to score three straight hundreds after Tamim Iqbal.

Speaking of the game, it was the eighth game of the present Bangladesh Premier League, and it was won on Tuesday by Sylhet Strikers (January 10). The Dhaka Dominators, headed by Nasir Hossain, won the toss and decided to bat first in the seventh BPL 2023 game. His team scored 139/10 thanks to the captain's (44) innings, which was ably backed by middle-order wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Mithun (42).
