When asked about Shubman Gill's balanced approach in the match, Shami didn't wait for a second and said, 'Usne jaise sambhala hai innings ko, starting se kar akhir takkk vo crease pe raha. Vo bahut zaroorat hai ek batsman ka end pakad ke rehna aur waha par run bhi banana sath mei. Aur aise wicket pe 100 bnana kabil-e-tareef hai.'
