Commonwealth Games 2022: Commonwealth Games 2022 ended yesterday and Birmingham witnessed the closing ceremony at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. The Commonwealth Games Games flag was then handed over to Victoria, Australia as Australia will be hosting the next edition of the Commonwealth Games in 2026.

The closing ceremony was concluded with the performance by the Sollihul band Ocean Colour Scene. The ceremony was then followed by a musical performance from the Birmingham-born band Dexys Midnight Runners.
UB40, one of the biggest bands of all time took the event at Cloud 9 whereas other Musicians and bands from the Midlands region also entertained the crowd with their respective performances.
