Cricket Records: There are many ways for a batsman to get out but being on a duck is surely the most despised one. However, there have been many instances when even famous cricketers got out on ducks consecutively. The list includes many players who have acheived the status of being one of the greats of cricket.

Read on to know the names of cricketers who went out on a duck for three times in a row.

1. Sachin Tendulkar

Fondly referred by the name of "God of Cricket" by his fans, not many would have expected him to be on this list. However, the isntance records back when he was in initial phase of career.

After scoring his first ODI century against Australia on 9th Sept. 1994, Sachin was dismissed on zero in next 3 matches (Against Sri Lanka on 17th Sep, and then against West Indies on 17th Oct and 20th Oct 1994).

2. Gautam Gambhir

Gautam Gambhir

Former Indian opener and currently a MP, Gautam Gambhir had his worst IPL season as a batsman in the year 2014. He scored three consecutive ducks in that season, and was also the first player to do so in IPL.

However, captaincy wise, it turned out to be a good edition for him, as his team went on to lift the trophy.

3. Mohinder Amarnath

Mohinder Amarnath

Regarded as one of the legends of Indian test cricket, Mohinder Amarnath has an unwanted and unexpected record on his name. He also won the man of the match award in the 1983 World Cup final. However, back at home, in the same year, he went on to score three ducks consecutively.

He could manage to score only one run in the six innings in that series. If it won't for that one run, he would have made the record of six ducks.

4. Ajit Agarkar

Ajit Agarkar

One of the finest players of India, Ajit Agarkar has represented India in more than 250 International matches. After scoring a test century at Lords and making a record of fastest fifty by an Indian batsman in Tests, he scored a duck against Australia in Adelaide and then the same streak continued in form of pairs at MCG and SCG. So, he actually had 5 ducks.

5. Gogumal Kishenchand

Gogumal Kishenchand

Kishenchand, who was hailed as a young genius, averaged 47.91 in First-Class cricket but had a dismal Test record of 89 runs at 8.90 from 5 Tests. The most notable aspect of his career was the fact that he recorded five ducks in total, each occurring in a different Test.

He holds a record of playing most tests with a duck in every test.
