Cricket Viral Video: Ashish Nehra has been one of the most prolific bowler of his time. He has won several matches for India through his skills and magical performance. However, many don't know that this tailender was actually capable of hitting big shots as well. He proved this by hitting a massive six against New Zealand's star bowler Shane Bond.

Ashish Nehra's powerful hit

The incident took place during a match between the Men in Blue and Kiwis at Hamilton. India had previously lost the first match by 10 wickets margin in the Wellington. Just like that match, the top order struggled once again in Hamilton as well, as they were batting on a wet pitch that was drenched by rain. By the stumps on day two, India had just 92/8 on board.

On the third day, India began batting with Ashish Nehra still on crease. He was facing Shane Bond, who had already picked up three wickets in the inning. Bond targetted Nehra with a fierce delivery. However, the batter responded back by hitting a pull shot that took the ball over the boundary line. Fans were left in awe of his batting prowess.
