Cricket Viral Video: In a rather peculiar turn of events during Derbyshire's match against Birmingham Bears on Wednesday night, Haider Ali found himself dismissed in an unusual manner after venturing out of his crease and subsequently being stumped.

Haider Ali encounters a bizarre dismissal

Despite the visiting team being comfortably positioned at 95-0 while chasing 204 runs and requiring an increased scoring rate, Haider Ali took the risk of advancing down the pitch to face Danny Briggs. However, his plans backfired when he was deceived by a wide yorker.

The ball managed to slip beneath his bat, evading contact, and reached wicketkeeper Alex Davies. Although Davies initially struggled to secure the ball, he swiftly recovered and attempted to dislodge the bails but missed his chance.

Just when it appeared that Haider had escaped unharmed, he inexplicably strayed out of his crease and was stumped by Davies. Despite having played 35 limited-overs matches for Pakistan, Haider looked bewildered as the square leg umpire raised his finger, leaving him with a score of 48 before he had to make his way back to the pavilion.

Despite the peculiar dismissal, Derbyshire secured a comfortable victory with six wickets in hand, thanks to Leus du Plooy's rapid 66 off 25 balls, which helped them successfully chase the target.
