Cricket Viral Video: When the historic Test series between Australia and Pakistan began, animosity was put on hold in favour of respect from all sides for the way the games had been conducted between the two countries. The same respect has been evident, whether it was through posters of Pakistani supporters expressing sincere affection for their rivals or David Warner and Shaheen Afridi engaging in a joyful stare-down on the field during the last delivery of Day 3 of the third Test.
The Australian pace duo of Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins, however, showed no consideration for the middle and lower order Pakistani batters after they bowled a scorching spell that caused a drastic Pakistan collapse at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore during the decisive Test. Pakistan lost 7 wickets for just 20 runs.
Minutes before the finish of the play, with Australia returning to bat, Shaheen Afridi energised the crowd and made the commentators laugh as he sprinted towards Warner, who had successfully protected his penultimate delivery. As the two stared one other down and penetrated each other's souls, Afridi stood tall and in Warner's face before giving up the charade and dissolving into a smile.
